Attendance 2020 - 2021

We are delighted to see everyone coming to school, and the school continues to monitor attendance in the usual way.

If your child feels unwell. it is very important that they stay at home until they are well. It is also very important that you contact the school and let us know where your child is. You can contact the class teacher directly through Aladdin Connect or teacher email, or leave a message on the school phone.

Attendance Previous Years

Attendance has a very important link with how pupils perform in school, so we run initiatives and competitions to promote good attendance.

'Attendance Heroes' runs once a term in Infants and First Classes. Each pupil has a Stamp Card, and if they have full attendance for 2 weeks, they can choose a prize to bring home.

Older Classes have been doing 'Count me in to Win', where pupils received a ticket for a draw each week they had full attendance. At the end of the month, the draw took place, and some lucky pupils won prizes for their good attendance.

Our latest initiative for senior classes (2nd - 6th) is a week of full attendance for May/June earns a pupil a Homework pass. There will a big prize for the top attending 3 classes on June 21st. These classes will each win a platter of hot food!

Each term, we present certificates to all pupils with full attendance and consistent attendance. We also present certificates to pupils who are never late. Here are some photos of our recent award ceremonies.
