For parents of children in early start – Ms Coyle wil be back from maternity leave after Easter and will be working with Amanda. She will be available online also to give guidance and assistance.

Ms Forde and Ms Denmead will also be returning from maternity leave after Easter and will be available to help parents and pupils as well.

Sadly, this is Rachel’s last year in Homeschool and although she will return to teaching with us, she will finish in her role as HSCL in the summer and a new homeschool liaison teacher will be interviewed for the position.

SNA Redeployments

You may have heard on the news that SNA staff are to be redeployed within the HSE, to areas of need over the coming weeks. All of our SNA staff have signed up to help and we will keep you posted as to what happens in this regard.

School Meals Scheme

School Meals will be delivered fortnightly from Thursday next, via An Post delivery, to families who have signed up for the service while the crisis is ongoing. Thanks to all parents and staff who volunteered their help with deliveries, so that the scheme could still be run remotely.

School Building

CCTV has been installed in the school.

Two new front doors have been fitted and painted with a fob entry for staff.

There is an intercom and buzzer system for the school reception area.

Covid-19

To date, there has been no confirmed cases of the virus within the school community.

I hope everyone continues to stay safe and well and takes a well deserved break over Easter. Please let the children know that we are all asking for them and hope to see them again very soon,

Kind regards,

Adrienne Ní Cheallaigh,

Principal.
