Tá alán eachtraí ar súil sa scoil anois do Seachtain na Gaeilge, agus tá gach éinne ag baint taitneamh as:- ag úsáid cúpla focail, ag canadh, ealaín, ag damhsa agus ag imirt cluichí as gaeilge.
The school is very busy doing Seachtain na Gaeilge activities and everyone is enjoying greeting each other in irish & doing many activities through irish.
Lá Glas/Green Day Wednesday, 16th March We will be holding our Lá Glas/Green Day next Wednesday, 16th March and children are allowed to wear green, white and orange to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day and Irish culture. They may also wish to wear yellow and blue to show support for the children in Ukraine. A 2 Euro donation per child would be great to add to the staff collection for Mr Kiely’s friend’s charity which is ‘Hurling for Hope’ for the Motor Neurone Association and also for the Hospice foundation. Families with more than one child can donate whatever they can and no pressure on families who are not in a position to do so at the moment. School will be closing at normal times on this day and will reopen on Tuesday, 22nd March.
Crumlin Clean Up
It was great to see all the trees being collected by local people for planting last Saturday from the Youth Reach car park as part of the Bloomin Crumlin campaign. We have ordered a few trees for the school garden and hope to plant them over the coming weeks. If any parent/guardian would like to volunteer to help out on occasion with the school garden project, please let Caoimhe (our HSCL) know on 0852105629/homeschool@scoilunanaofa.com
