Scoil Úna Naofa Welcomes You

Scoil Úna Naofa is a mixed vertical school, with pupils attending from Junior Infants to 6th Class. We also have a junior special class, ‘Sonas’ and an Early Start unit for preschool children, which is one of only 40 in Ireland, approved by the Department of Education & Skills. Although our school follows a Catholic ethos, we welcome children of all faiths and none. We promote a caring and nurturing environment for our pupils and we continually strive to help each child in our school to be the best that they can be. The pupils are supported in their daily learning by our committed staff, dedicated Board of Management and wonderful parents. Further information on our school can be found by following the links on the menu pages above. Thank you for visiting our site and I look forward to seeing you throughout the year.

School History

Scoil Úna Naofa operates as a co-educational vertical primary school with a rich history dating back to 1939 when it first opened its doors as St. Agnes' Primary School. At its foundation, the school accommodated over 1000 pupils, with class sizes averaging 50 children each. Over the course of more than 75 years, the school flourished, actively supporting initiatives such as the St. Agnes' Music Centre, now recognized as the CCMA.

In 2016, St. Agnes' underwent an amalgamation with Scoil Colm, a boys' school catering to students from 1st through 6th class. This union resulted in the establishment of Scoil Úna Naofa.

As a school under the patronage of the Catholic Archbishop of Dublin, Scoil Úna Naofa currently serves a diverse student body of over 400 children. Our student population ranges from those in Early Start to those in 6th Class, reflecting our commitment to providing comprehensive education across all primary levels.
